Making A Purchase
These Terms and Conditions
Any purchases of products from this PG tips Monkey Shop are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully. We recommend that you also print a copy.
From time to time these terms and conditions may be updated. Updates will apply from the time that they are posted on the site. You will be asked to confirm that you have read the latest terms and conditions each time you purchase products from PG tips Monkey Shop.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Shopping at PG tips Monkey Shop
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Check Out' and you will be asked for the details that we need before you submit your order.
We only accept orders for delivery to UK addresses. You will have an opportunity to check and correct the details of your order until you click the 'Proceed' button.
Once you have submitted your order you will be provided with a receipt page, the details of which we will also email you. We will send you a second email once we have processed your payment. Both the receipt page and these two emails acknowledge receipt (not acceptance) of your order and include an Order Number, which you should keep safe in case of query.
We will send you a third email on despatch of your products. A legally binding contract between us will be formed at this point. If we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you by email or telephone.

Prices and Payment
The price for each product is stated in UK pounds and includes VAT. The total cost of your order will be the price of the product(s) plus the delivery charge.
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Delta. Please note that we do not accept other types of card such as American Express or Diners.
We will take payment for the products on the day on which your order is submitted to us. Products are subject to availability. If we are subsequently unable to fulfil your order we will provide you with a full refund.
We try hard to ensure that all information relating to the products on the PG tips Monkey Shop is accurate. However, despite our best efforts a product may be incorrectly priced. If this happens we will contact you to check whether you still want the product at the correct price or wish to cancel your order and receive a full refund.
Mini Monkey Promotion
The first 1,000 valid orders received for the purchase of any item(s) from the PG tips Monkey Shop after 00:01 on 01.12.07 will receive a Mini Monkey (A 5inch wool Monkey toy with suckers on its hands).
Offer is limited to one Mini Monkey per order.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to substitute Mini Monkey with an alternative gift of equal or greater value.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Credit Card Security
Shopping with PG tips Monkey Shop is secure. We use Protx as our payment gateway.
When the order is placed at our website, credit/debit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Shipping And Handling
We only accept orders for delivery to UK addresses (including Channel Islands). The delivery address must be the same as the billing address. We make one delivery charge per order. |
Delivery Schedule
We aim to deliver within 14 days of receipt of your order. Please allow additional time for delivery around public holidays. We cannot guarantee a particular delivery day or time.
Delivery will be made by either standard post or courier. You may be asked to sign to confirm safe receipt. If you are out at the time of delivery you will be left a card with details of who to contact to rearrange delivery.

We hope that you will be delighted with your products but we understand that there may be occasions when you will find it necessary to return an item. The process for returning faulty items is set out in the Returns Policy section below. |
Returns Policy
Faulty Products
Please contact us by telephone or email to inform us of the fault (see the 'Our Contact Details' section above) within 28 days of the date on which we deliver the goods to you. We will provide a freepost address for you to return the product to - please ensure that you enclose your name and Order Number. Following receipt of the returned product we will send you a replacement product or, if one is not available, we will provide you with a full refund.
Change of Mind
You may cancel your order at any time up until 14 days from the date on which we deliver the goods to you. To cancel please contact us to notify us (see the Our Contact Details section above). We will provide a freepost address for you to return the product to - please ensure that you enclose your name and Order Number. The product must be unused, in 'as new' condition and returned with its packaging.
Following receipt of the returned product we will issue with a full refund for the original price of the product and delivery charge.
This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights. |
